This weekend the city of Providence’ s downtown neighborhood transform the streets in the heart of Providence into a celebration of art, music, food, performance and more for the 4th annual PVDFest, June 9 and 10.
Kennedy Plaza, opposite Providence City Hall and diagonally across from the historic Biltmore Hotel will be transformed into a Food Village for PVD Fest.

Food Village will feature more than 60 local eateries and food trucks.
Colleges, \theaters, an art and music scene, tons of night-life and the best restaurants, downtown Providence is one of the best neighborhoods to live.
While it is the capital city, because it maintains a friendly, small-town atmosphere with a diverse population and urban culture, downtown is a desirable living location for the young and the retired. Where else other than Providence will you regularly run into your Governor at your local coffee shop? If you enjoy great restaurants, theater and museums, then the Downtown
neighborhood is for you.

From RISD Museum on the base of College Hill to Trinity Repertory
Theater. All this and downtown Providence is just a hop skip and a jump from Boston, Newport, and Rhode Island’s magnificent Rhode Island beaches.
While PVD Fest is just the beginning of several outdoor Festivals- during the summer season of events. It’s one of the most anticipated for the residents of downtown neighborhood.
